Why am I getting a “restricted content” blue screen on my Media Center PC when I try to watch recorded tv?

grrrrgrrrrr asked:

I have recorded some tv shows on my media center pc and all of them work except one which gives me a blue screen and a message about the provider restricting the content or something after about 10 seconds in. The movie is The Bus Stop with Marilyn Monroe, and I recorded it on AMC. I can watch that channel fine and record other things on that channel ok.

How Do I use a VCR on my HP Media Center PC?

trrocks03 asked:

I don’t really need help with using a VCR or a PC, I just want to know how to watch what I have plugged into the composite input slots in the front of the PC. I have the VCR plugged in but I do not know how to access that. I am assuming there is a program or something to activate. I have the cords plugged in right, red to red, white to white, and yellow to yellow. How do I view it on my monitor?

I want to move 100 Gigabytes of data from one computer to another but without many cables. but I have LAN?

Frank L asked:

In particular it’s a Mac Laptop and I want to move the stuff to a media center PC, but when I pull out the media center drive and hook it up to the Mac, the mac thinks that it’s a locked drive or something. Any way to transfer easily over a LAN between 2 OS’s?

Or alternatively, both computers have a FIREWIRE slot… could I do something there? Thanks guys!
