Why am I getting a “restricted content” blue screen on my Media Center PC when I try to watch recorded tv?

I have recorded some tv shows on my media center pc and all of them work except one which gives me a blue screen and a message about the provider restricting the content or something after about 10 seconds in. The movie is The Bus Stop with Marilyn Monroe, and I recorded it on AMC. I can watch that channel fine and record other things on that channel ok.

How Do I use a VCR on my HP Media Center PC?

Can a PC output audio from two programs out of two sperate outputs simulatniously?

I want to move 100 Gigabytes of data from one computer to another but without many cables. but I have LAN?

Is there a way that I can view open windows on my home PC through another computer?

So I have to go to a class and I have a laptop and internet access at the class, and the problem is i will miss a good NFL game i really want to see. So my home PC has a TV tuner, and i am able to view the game on that PC with Windows Media Center. So i was wondering if there was a way i could remotely access my home pc from my laptop at school, and then watch the game that way.

I am indeed the owner of both PCs, it’s not like i’m trying to hack a friends pc or anything, but if I have to resort to methods that would generally be considered illegal to do to unwilling participants, I am willing.

So is there any way you can help me out?

What do I need to copy downloaded movies to DVDs?

I have several full-length movies that I downloaded from one of those services. They sit on my hard drives, both an external one and the main (C://) one. My PC is fairly new and I use XP2; there is a “DVD writer - CD Writer” drive, as well as the usual CD-ROM. I am able to burn CDs with no problem. I have Windows Media Player 10, as well as this HP PC being the Media Center edition.

What, if any, hardware and/or software do I need to get these movies off of the drives and on to “portable” DVDs?
P.S. Isn’t Nero really expensive? That kinda defeats my purpose, doesn’t it? Saving $ :)
