How Can I Get Rid of the “replace your wireless mouse battery” Warning on my HP Media Center PC?
BLP asked:
I just replaced the batteries on my wireless mouse for the first time and now whenever I use it I get a “replace your wireless mouse battery” warning about every 10-15 seconds. It is exceptionally annoying. I can’t figure out how to get rid of this warning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My mouse has no reset button, only a “connect” button, which I pushed, but I still get the error. I went to my mouse settings, but there is no “configure settings”. There is a “hardware” tab, and I looked at both “settings” and did the “troubleshooting” procedure, neither of which helped.

Should be a reset button on the bottom of the mouse – just press it with the tip of a pen or pencil.
Control panel, mouse setting, and configure settings. Also, try troubleshooting wireless devices attached to your computer.
Press the Reset Button
