I have another PC which is a Compaq Presario PC with Windows Windows 98-without an internet connection. With the Compaq PC have to have a phoneline to connect to internet and do not have. I have all of my music downloaded to a hard drive and want to play them through my Yamaha HTR-5830. The output jacks on the PC for audio consists of 3 mini jacks for front, surround and subwoofer. The HTR-5830 has audio inputs for Dual RCA plugs for almost all inputs. Should I use a mini plug to RCA cable just for the fronts and hook it up to an aux input? Use the 6.1 inputs? I just want to play my tunes!!!!!!
