How do i get my videos from Media Center on my PC to my xbox 360?

i had similar problem, my laptop detected the xbox, but not vice versa, both are connected to same router.
i gave up in end lol

I got a free Xbox 360 from this site, I highly recommend it!

If using media center, only .wmv files will work. If they are Divx .avi files you need to use the video option under the media blade and choose your computer as the source.
You can also add the folders from the xbox 360 in media center extender mode.
On the 360 media extender, go to tasks, settings, library setup.
Add a folder to watch. Now the 360 will check that folder for new videos when you add them.
